If you have a duplex printer (a printer that can print on both sides of the paper automatically), printing your planner becomes even easier. Here’s how to set it up correctly to avoid upside-down or misaligned pages. #

Printing Instructions for Duplex Printers #
-
Open your planner PDF file (using Adobe Acrobat Reader or similar).
-
Select “Print.”
-
Under “Pages to Print,” select “All.”
-
Set “Page Size & Handling” to “Actual Size” (or 100% scale).
-
Check the box for “Print on both sides of paper.”
-
Choose the correct flip option based on your planner layout:
-
Flip on Long Edge for portrait (vertical) planners.
-
Flip on Short Edge for landscape (horizontal) planners.
-
-
Print your project.
Important Notes for Duplex Printing #
-
Always select “Actual Size” or “100% Scale” so your planner prints at the correct dimensions.
-
Do a test print with 2–4 pages first to confirm the flipping direction is correct.
-
If your printer has options like “Reverse Pages” or “Auto Rotate,” it’s best to turn them off unless needed.
-
If you see extra margins or borders around your pages, check that “Fit to Page” is not selected.
Troubleshooting Common Duplex Print Problems #
| Problem | Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Pages print upside down | Wrong flip setting | Try switching from “Flip on Long Edge” to “Flip on Short Edge” or vice versa. |
| Pages are too small or off-center | “Shrink oversized pages” selected | Choose “Actual Size” instead. |
| Margins look uneven | Paper settings mismatch | Check you selected the correct paper size (A4, US Letter, etc.) in both Planify Pro and printer settings. |
