Sync Your Digital Planner Before Export

Before you export your digital planner, it’s essential to sync the project so Planify Pro can generate all internal hyperlinks, load assets, and ensure every style and date flag is correctly applied. Skipping sync can lead to missing elements, broken links, or layout errors in your final PDF.

Where to Find the Sync Button #

  1. Click the “Save/Export” button in the top main menu.

  2. Go to the “Export” tab in the right-hand panel.

  3. Scroll down to the bottom, and you’ll see the “Sync” button.

What Happens During Sync #

When you click “Sync,” Planify Pro will:

  1. Re-open each page in the background

  2. Reload all assets (images, patterns, stickers, custom fonts)

  3. Reapply styles (layouts, colors, shadows)

  4. Generate all internal links (date flags, tab hyperlinks)

  5. Prepare the project for PDF export

Troubleshooting & Tips #

  • If your browser crashes during sync, switch to a slower speed or sync in smaller page ranges.

  • Use Chrome in a private window for best performance—Chrome can hit memory limits.

  • Save your project first to avoid data loss if the browser reloads.

  • If an element still doesn’t appear after sync, check out this documentation on missing images, patterns and elements on exported PDF.
