If the fonts in your exported PDF aren’t showing correctly, it’s usually related to the way custom fonts are handled inside Planify Pro — especially on larger planners.
Why This Happens #
Uploading and using your own fonts in Planify Pro can consume a lot of memory.
While using a custom font on a few pages (up to around 5 pages) is usually fine, applying custom fonts across 100+ pages — especially in large digital planners (400+ pages) — can cause issues.
If your device isn’t powerful enough (we recommend at least 16GB RAM — check the Recommended Devices Here), the custom font may fail to properly embed into the exported PDF, leading to missing or incorrect fonts.
How to Fix It #
1. If You Have a Large Planner (100+ Pages):
-
Switch to a Planify Pro built-in font instead of using an uploaded custom font.
-
Built-in fonts are optimized and will not cause issues during export.
2. If You Have a Small Planner (Less Than 10 Pages):
-
Try syncing your planner slowly:
-
Go to Save/Export > Smart Sync Before Export.
-
Or manually reload each page:
-
Open the Multiple Page Menu.
-
Enable Show Previews.
-
Click through each page slowly, waiting a few seconds for each page to fully load.
-
This ensures all fonts are properly sent to the PDF exporter.
📌 Whether syncing or manually opening pages, the goal is to send all font data correctly to the exporter.
-
Re-Export Your Planner
After syncing or manually refreshing, export the planner again — your fonts should now appear correctly.
