The digital planner setup in Planify Pro is a bit more advanced than standard projects, but it unlocks powerful features like tabs, hyperlinks, and page linking — all essential for building a fully interactive planner for apps like GoodNotes or Notability.
Step 1: Transform Your Project into a Digital Planner #
To begin a digital planner:
-
Start by creating a new project.
-
Go to the top main menu and click on “Layout.”
-
In the Layout submenu, click on “Digital Planner.”
-
On the right panel, you’ll see two key options:
-
Show Digital Planner Layout
-
Single Page Vertical Planner
-
Layout Options Explained #
Show Digital Planner Layout #
-
Activates a two-page spread: left and right pages displayed side-by-side.
-
Ideal for planners used in landscape orientation on an iPad.
-
Mimics the experience of a real open book or planner.
Single Page Vertical Planner #
-
Displays one single page at a time.
-
Best for portrait orientation planners or users who prefer scrolling through one page per screen.
-
Left/right separation is removed — only one page is shown at any time.
Unlocking Digital Planner Features #
Once you’ve selected either layout option, the project becomes a Digital Planner, and a new panel will appear on the right. This unlocks additional features like:
-
Adding and linking tabs
-
Managing hyperlinks
-
Applying planner backgrounds and spine styles
You’re now ready to begin designing your digital planner with full interactive functionality!
