How to Make a Horizontal Digital Planner with Left and Right Pages #
When creating your digital planner in Planify Pro, you can choose between a one-page vertical layout or a two-page horizontal spread — depending on how you want your final planner to look and feel.
If you want to create a horizontal planner layout that looks like an open book with a left side and a right side, here’s exactly how to set it up:
One Page vs Two Page Layouts #
When you start designing your digital planner, Planify Pro lets you pick between two different styles:
-
One-Page Layout (Vertical View):
Displays only one page at a time, stacked vertically.
Best for portrait mode use. -
Two-Page Layout (Horizontal View):
Displays two pages side by side, just like an open book.
Perfect for landscape tablet use.
How to Create a Horizontal Planner Layout (Left + Right Pages) #
-
Go to Planner Mode and start your new digital planner project.
-
Go to main Layout menu at the top, Digital Planner Submenu.
-
Click on “Show the Digital Planner”
This will automatically switch your planner into a two-page horizontal layout, where every spread has a left page and a right page displayed next to each other.
✅ Your digital planner is now set up to look like an open planner or book when viewed horizontally!
Why Choose a Two-Page Horizontal Layout? #
-
It looks like a real physical planner or journal when opened.
-
It’s great for planners where you want to design across two pages (e.g., weekly spreads, monthly overviews).
-
It’s the best choice if you want to create more detailed layouts with lots of space — for example, notes on one side and a calendar on the other.
-
It feels natural for users holding their tablets horizontally (landscape mode).
