In Planify Pro, you can export your planner project in different ways depending on how you want to use it — printed planners, digital planners, or for Amazon KDP publishing.
This guide walks you through all the export options available.
Step 1: Open the Export Menu #
-
From the top navigation bar, click Save/Export.
-
Choose Export (not Save).
-
Now you will see different export options.
Step 2: Choose What to Export #
You can choose between:
-
Single Page
Export just one page from your planner. -
Multiple Pages
Export your entire planner or a specific range of pages.
Exporting Single Page #
-
Select Single Page.
-
Choose the Output Type:
-
Paper Print (for printing)
-
Digital Planner (for use in GoodNotes, Notability, etc.)
-
KDP Export (for Amazon KDP publishing)
-
-
If selecting Paper Print, choose your paper size:
-
A4
-
US Letter
-
Same as the project’s current size (e.g., A5)
-
Important: When exporting a single page, Planify Pro will duplicate it into a 2-page PDF for easier duplex printing. You can manually remove the second page if needed.
Exporting Multiple Pages #
-
Select Multiple Pages.
-
Choose the Output Type again (Paper, Digital, KDP).
-
Select your paper size.
-
For Paper Print, you must also choose the page arrangement:
Page Arrangement Options #
-
Rearrange for Ring/Disc Bound
➔ Planify Pro will rearrange pages to align perfectly after duplex (double-sided) printing.
➔ If the planner size is small (e.g., A6), it may also place left and right pages side-by-side on the PDF to save paper. -
Rearrange for Binder/Traveler’s Notebook
➔ Pages are arranged for folding into notebook signatures without cutting. -
Do Not Rearrange
➔ Pages stay exactly in the order you created them — no reordering applied.
Exporting a Digital Planner #
-
Choose Digital Planner in the Export menu.
-
Planify Pro will export the planner with all hyperlinks attached.
-
No rearranging is needed for digital planners — pages stay in order.
Exporting for Amazon KDP #
-
Choose KDP Export in the Export menu.
-
This format is optimized for Amazon’s self-publishing platform (correct margins, bleed settings, etc.).
Special Case: Exporting for Booklets (Signatures) #
-
Select Paper Print mode.
-
Activate Export as Booklet.
-
Set how many sheets you want per signature (e.g., 3 sheets = 3 sheets folded makes 1 signature).
-
This option is for users who want to sew or bind their planner like a real book!
Important Things to Keep in Mind #
-
Always check your paper size before exporting.
-
Double-check your page arrangement option — especially if you are printing double-sided.
-
For large projects (300+ pages), exporting may take time — be patient!
-
Always sync your planner before exporting if working with Digital Planners to make sure all hyperlinks and assets are correctly attached.
