If the fonts in your exported PDF don’t match what you see in Planify Pro, it’s likely because of the default system font or missing font settings at the start of your project.
Here’s how to make sure your fonts appear correctly:
Why This Happens #
When you start a new project in Planify Pro, a default system font is automatically applied.
This font is mainly used for editing inside Planify Pro — but it won’t export properly or may appear differently in your final PDF.
Unless you manually select a font for H1, H2, and H3 headings, the export might either:
-
Use a wrong font, or
-
Leave the text styling inconsistent.
Additionally, if you applied fonts later on (after creating many pages), earlier pages may still be using the old system font.
How to Fix It #
-
Set Fonts for H1, H2, and H3
-
Go to the Text menu at the top.
-
Select a font for H1, H2, and H3 headings.
-
Avoid choosing “Futura” — it’s not supported on Planify Pro.
-
-
Apply the Font to All Pages
If you already have multiple pages created, you need to update them all:-
Go to the page where you’ve selected the correct fonts.
-
Click the “Copy Style” button (top left, in the multiple page menu).
-
In the options, select:
-
Font Family
-
Font Size
-
Margins (this helps align text properly after a font change)
-
-
Select All Pages in the range.
-
Click “Apply Style to Pages.”
📌 This will run through each page and update them with your selected fonts.
-
-
Re-export your planner.
After applying fonts across all pages, export your PDF again — the fonts should now appear correctly.
❗ Important: #
-
If you uploaded a custom font (one not from Planify Pro) and it’s not showing correctly, that’s a different issue related to memory and export limitations.
