Once you’ve synced your planner and verified all links and styles, you’re ready to export your interactive digital planner as a PDF. Follow these steps to generate and download your final file:
1. Open the Export Panel #
-
Click the “Save/Export” button in the top main menu.
-
Select the “Export” tab in the right-hand panel.
2. Configure Export Settings #
-
Page Range:
-
All Pages (default)
-
-
Mode:
-
Digital (preserves hyperlinks)
-
(Print mode is used for paper planners—don’t select this for digital use.)
-
-
Layout:
-
Single Page (one page per PDF view)
-
Double Page (spreads side by side)
-
-
Rearrange: Select “Do Not Rearrange” to keep your original page order.
3. Generate the PDF #
-
Click the “Batch Generate PDF” button at the bottom.
-
The export process will begin.
-
Time Required: Varies by planner size and assets.
-
Up to 700–800 pages may take 10–15 minutes.
-
Tip: For very large planners or heavy patterns, choose a slower export speed in the Sync step to ensure no missing elements such as patterns or images in the file.
4. Download and Test #
-
When the export completes successfully, a Download link appears.
-
Click it to open the PDF in a new browser tab.
-
Test your hyperlinks (tabs, date flags) by clicking around to confirm navigation.
5. Troubleshooting #
-
Export Takes Too Long:
-
If it exceeds 15 minutes, Planify Pro may flag an error—but the process could still be finishing.
-
Wait up to 30 minutes before retrying or contacting support.
-
-
File Size Limits:
-
Planners up to 1 GB are supported.
-
If you hit size limits, consider removing heavy patterns (especially on daily pages).
-
-
Recommended Environment:
-
Use Firefox in a private window on a desktop/laptop.
-
Avoid Chrome or tablet browsers to prevent memory issues.
-
6. Final Notes #
-
The exported PDF is fully tappable and works in apps like GoodNotes, Notability, and most PDF viewers.
-
Store your file safely and share it with customers or students as a complete digital planner.
