In Planify Pro, you can add dates to your widgets in two different ways: by using Date Flags or by applying a Dated Widget. Each method offers unique styling and placement options, depending on the look and structure you want for your planner.
Option 1: Adding a Date Flag #
A Date Flag is a movable decorative element that displays the date inside a circular or styled flag that sits on top of the widget. Here’s how to add one:
-
Click on the widget you want to add the date flag to.
-
In the widget settings, scroll down to the section labeled “Date Flag.”
-
Check the box labeled “Top” to enable the date flag.
-
Customize the flag:
-
Choose the Date: Pick any date you’d like to show.
-
Language: Select the language in which the date should appear.
-
Styling Options: Adjust the font, color, and date format.
-
Positioning: Drag and move the flag to reposition it anywhere on the widget.
-
Option 2: Using a Dated Widget #
A Dated Widget simply places the date text (e.g., “7. Tuesday”) above the widget, embedded in the layout without a movable flag. It’s ideal if you prefer a more minimal and structured layout.
To use a dated widget:
-
Click on the widget.
-
Scroll to the Date section (not the date flag).
-
Toggle on the Date option.
-
Adjust:
-
Date Format
-
Font
-
Color
-
Height Position: Move it up or down to align it above the widget header.
