DIY To-Do Mousepad: How to Make a Notepad Mousepad for Your Desk

How to Make a DIY To-Do Mousepad

This DIY to-do mousepad tutorial shows you how to combine a PVA-bound tear-off notepad with a rubber foam base to create a mousepad that doubles as a daily task list. Your to-do list stays right under your mouse hand all day — always visible, always within reach — so you never forget a task while working at your computer.

The to-do mousepad is a practical desk accessory that eliminates the need for a separate notepad and mousepad. The rubber foam base provides a smooth surface for your mouse, while the notepad section on top gives you space to jot down tasks, reminders, and quick notes. When a page is full, you tear it off to reveal a fresh sheet underneath, just like a traditional tear-off notepad.

In this step-by-step guide, you will learn how to print your to-do list template, bind the pages with PVA glue, cut a rubber foam base to size, attach a chipboard layer for rigidity, and mount the finished notepad onto the mousepad base. The result is a functional desk accessory you will reach for every day. Create your own to-do layouts with templates from Planify Pro.
