This is the simplest notepad project in our tutorial collection, making it a great starting point if you have never made a notepad before. There are no covers to build, no special tools required, and no complicated binding methods. You just stack your printed pages on a chipboard backing, clip them together, and brush PVA glue along the top edge. Once the glue dries, you have a fully functional notepad with clean tear-off pages.

In this step-by-step guide, you will learn how to print your notepad design, trim the pages to size, prepare a chipboard backing, and apply PVA glue for a strong, even binding. This method works for any notepad size and any design — from to-do lists and meal planners to daily schedules and habit trackers.
