What you’ll need to prepare before crafting your refillable notepad:
- Paper to print out the Notes Pages
- Chipboards
- White Glossy Sticker Paper
- Cinch Binding Machine
Design Planner Covers and Inserts
Design the Internal Pages
- Design the internal pages using Planify Pro. You can choose the size and add lined papers
- Adjust the layout by adding paddings and removing spaces. Make sure to adjust the spacing so that there is enough space for hole punching later
Decorate and Customize
- You can also decorate the notepad by adding stickers
- Once you are done designing the internal pages, copy and paste the design to the other side of the notepad
Export the Internal Pages
- Export the notepad design as a PDF file. You can choose to export multiple pages on one sheet depending on your paper size
Design and Print the Cover
- Design the cover page by adding patterns. You will need to export the cover page in a separate file as well
- Print the notepad inserts and the cover pages on separate papers. Make sure to print the cover pages on a larger scale and on white glossy sticker paper
Binding Refillable Notepad
Cut and Prepare Materials
- Cut out all the pieces and trim off any white edges
- Assemble the cover by sticking two cover pages together
Assemble the Chipboard Structure
- Prepare seven chipboards according to the measurements in the video and place them next to each other with a gap in between
- Trim the corners of the chipboards and fold all the sides inwards
Attach the Cover Interior
- Adhere the smaller sized cover page on the inside of the cover and fold all the pieces together
Final Assembly
- Hole punch the inserts and the cover page
- Insert Chicago screws through the holes and screw them together to assemble the notepad
